Moderate the AACRAO Collective Gathering

Our monthly convening for our members happens on the fourth Thursday of the month. Guide the next conversation and stay connected with your peers.

Host a Book Club Discussion

AACRAO's Book Club is a time for folks to come together and discuss the selected book, short story, graphic novel, or other genre of reading chosen for the month. Submit a work, and help guide the discussion that takes place at the end of the month.

Become Faculty for an Online or In Person Course

Seeking faculty for online and in-person courses focused on basic skills and knowledge in registrar or admissions functions to courses that help participants advance in their careers. Those selected receive a small honorarium per course section taught.

Join the Prior Learning Assessment & Alternative Credit and Credentials Committee

Provides programming to inform the membership on offering, evaluating and applying learning by non-traditional means. Topics may include, but are not limited to, prior learning assessments (PLAs), military credit, competency-based education (CBE), credit-by-examination, portfolio assessments, certificates, micro-credentials and badging.
