The CAPACRAO Bylaws establish standing committees each year to support the Association’s mission and professional community. Each committee plays an important role in advancing professional development, governance, and member engagement.

Audit Committee

This committee collaborates with the Treasurer to coordinate the annual external audit, conducted by an independent third-party company.

Awards & Resolutions Committee

This committee works with the President-Elect to coordinate award nominations, select recipients, and prepare resolutions recognizing outstanding service and achievements.

Communications Committee

This committee collaborates with the Vice President for Communications/Secretary to develop and share CAPACRAO news, social media updates, and email communications.

Legislation & Policy Committee

This committee identifies and monitors higher education policies and legislative updates that impact the Association and its members.

Local Arrangements & Program Committee

This committee plans logistics for CAPACRAO events including site selection, catering, registration, and on-site coordination in collaboration with the VP for Programming.
