Audit This committee works with the Treasurer to conduct and review an external audit, completed by a third‐party company, each year. Time commitment: November - April. Chair: Otu Obot, II, Prince George's Community College Awards & Resolutions This committee works with the President-Elect to run the selection of award recipients and/or to provide resolutions to the organization. Communications This committee, in coordination with the Secretary, composes and distributes communication (via social media, email, etc.) to the Association's membership. Time commitment: Year-Around. Chair: Rickiea Cohen. University of Maryland, Baltimore
Legislation & Policy This committee identifies pertinent legislation the Association should be aware and distributes through professional development initiatives. Time commitment: Year-Around. Chair: Vacant Local Arrangements & Program This committee coordinates the logistics of the association's meeting, including identifying locations, food selection, and registration logistics with VP for Programming. Time commitment: Year-Around; Peak Time: February - June. Chair: Vacant Nominations & Elections This committee works with the Past‐President to select nominees for Executive Board positions. Time commitment: Year-Around; Peak Time: January - June. Chair: Johnika Dreher, Kent State University Professional Development & Programming This committee is responsible for developing educational and professional opportunities for members.
