Primary Function
This position provides leadership for enrollment services in the student onboarding process including admissions and records, career services, early college initiatives, financial aid, and new student outreach, and takes the lead role in the implementation of the college's enrollment management plan. This position is required to regularly work evenings and weekends, including registration and commencement.
Essential Duties

Provides daily leadership and supervision for enrollment services functions including student admissions and records, career services, early college initiatives, financial aid and new student outreach, and ensures that all functional areas implement plans and have the processes, technologies and resources necessary to meet enrollment goals
Collaborates with the vice president for enrollment management and student services; creates, implements and monitors the college's enrollment management plan; and works with campus departments to achieve the plan's goals
Implements and maintains a data tracking and communication system to evaluate the progress of students from outreach through the onboarding process; provides regular reports to management; and analyzes enrollment trends and institutional and market data to recommend adjustments to enrollment planning, targeting of resources and course scheduling
Leads the college's new student outreach efforts for credit and non-credit students; works with local school districts, communities, businesses, churches and others to enroll new students; and provides and manages outreach efforts to current students regarding registration each term
Provides leadership in the development of necessary programs and services designed to ensure student access, ease of entry and successful transition into the college, and develops strategies to increase the enrollment and retention of students of color and underrepresented populations
Collaborates with the college's marketing department and participates in the development of promotion plans and materials designed to attract new students to the college
Contributes to the annual and five-year comprehensive department assessment process as per the college assessment plan
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
Master's degree
Five years of work experience in higher education, including experience supervising staff in admissions and records, career services, enrollment management, financial aid or student recruitment
Enrollment management planning and implementation experience with demonstrated understanding of processes, technology and planning required to meet enrollment goals
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, computer, database management, leadership and supervision skills
Knowledge of retention factors and an understanding of the diverse academic and socioeconomic backgrounds of students
Budget management skills
Valid driver's license
Preference will be given to candidates with:
A doctorate degree or AACRAO Strategic Enrollment Management endorsement
Experience utilizing marketing strategies in enrollment management
Supplemental Information
This is a full-time standard administrative position.
Days and Hours of work are Mon. - Fri., 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (1 hour lunch)
